Osamu Kinjo

Osamu Kinjo was born in Koza (Okinawa City) in 1957. He opened Osamu Workshop in Oogimi Village in 1987. He aims to produce everyday utensils for daily use using wood from Yanbaru. In 2015, he was awarded the highest prize in the crafts category, the Okiten Prize, at the 67th Okiten Exhibition.
